1. Preheat oven to 400 F 2. Soak bran in the milk for a minute or so 3. Sift dry ingredients. 4. Add egg and oil to bran mixture, beat until blended 5. Add flour mixture stir only until moistened 6. Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes Notes: Fills 12 muffin tins. I use a 12x12 pan as it's easier, then cut the finished muffins into squares and put them in the freezer. ( I have 10 dogs, so bake a quadrupal batch) 1/4 of a muffin daily is plenty for a Pap. There is no salt as dogs don't sweat so they don't need salt. Use corn oil as it shines the coat. If any of you have big dogs and will be feeding a lot of muffins, I buy a 50 pound sack of red feed bran from the feed store for 10 cents a pound. It works great.
